I know you're never supposed to tell anyone about your dreams because what seems terribly exciting and interesting to you at 4am is downright boring when retold over lunch to someone who has no idea what you're talking about. So I won't bore anyone with last night's dream about the entire cast of General Hospital hanging out in my living room. Or how I was caught wearing Rick Springfield's red, white and black striped button down shirt (unbuttoned to my belly button, just like good old Rick). And I definitely won't explain how pissed Rick was that I was wearing his shirt or that Rick resembled a very unflattering cross between Bea Arthur and Steven Tyler, lead singer for Aerosmith.

But, it does give me a lead in to tell how my husband saw Steven Tyler in downtown Boston the other day. And how I got all excited about all the other cool Boston area people we'll be seeing around the city - except I couldn't think of any except Spenser for Hire. And Spenser was played by Robert Urich, who also played Dan Tanna in Vega$, so if he was going to hang out anywhere it would probably be on the strip where the weather is better than Boston. Besides, he died four years ago, so if I actually did run into him on the streets of Boston I'd probably be more freaked out than excited. Kind of how I felt dreaming about Rick Springfield. Or maybe it was merely my subconscious telling me that I wish I could be Jesse's Girl. Though probably not.
