Off to BEA in the big apple! Can't wait.

Am signing for THE DIVORCED GIRLS SOCIETY on Saturday 12:00-1:00 in the Adams Media booth (#3915). Vicki and I have been debating on wardrobe, we'll see if we're too casual.

Had such a great time on the Vineyard this weekend for the launch of EVERYTHING I NEEDED TO KNOW ABOUT BEING A GIRL I LEARNED FROM JUDY BLUME. Saturday started out great, met Megan McCafferty on the beach behind the Black Dog Tavern in Vineyard Haven for our morning interview on Plum TV .

What a great gig, muffins, fresh squeezed juice and then a casual chat on the wicker chairs in the sand. Then it was on to the beach and a little shopping in Edgartown before our signing at Edgartown Books. Here we are, Megan, Kayla Perrin, Megan Crane, Laura Caldwell and myself. A bunch of people came by, and we enjoyed our afternoon on the front porch overlooking Main Street (and drinking a little champagne for a few of us). After the signing we hit the Seafood Shanty and got a great table overlooking Edgartown Harbor (and some beer and wine). We ended the night at our house drinking on the porch and laughing at everyone's stories (and Laura's hysterical imitations of Christmas cards). All in all, I wish I could do it all over again (and so does my husband, who thinks I have just about the coolest friends going).
