This weekend my friend Vicki (co-author of our upcoming book BETTER OFF WITHOUT HIM) is coming to visit because we have a meeting with our editor. So, on Saturday, we are heading into Boston with our best friend, Vangie, for a mini-girls-day-out. Years ago, when we lived in Boston the summer before our senior year at college, Vangie and I visited the Tremont Tea Room and had our tea leaves read. The outcome was startingly accurate. Scarily so. Years later we both vividly remember the predictions and are amazed that our lives mimic what the reader said. Definitely check out their web site, but don't be spooked by the eery music. Now, if the reader predicts we'll do a lot of shopping, eat a fabulous dinner, and perhaps end up with a hangover on Sunday morning, she won't be very far off.
I definitely enjoy a good look into the future, which is why I love to read my horoscope. Town & Country has the best site going (that's my aquarious water girl up in the left hand corner - in addition to having the best horoscopres the site also has the cutest illustrations for astrological signs).
: 3:11 PMI'm more than halfway through "Plan B" right now and I just want to tell you, I LOVE IT. Simon and Schuster sent me the first four MTV books to review and out of all of them you have the MOST realistic, identifiable narrator and a funny (yes Seventeen had it right) and extremely well written story that I think any teen won't be able to get enough of. Your YA voice is PERFECT and I really hope you don't stop writing YA any time soon. Good luck with everything!!
