It just so happens that my friend Melissa Senate, the author of the just released LOVE YOU TO DEATH, will be doing a reading with me in Cambridge in a few weeks. We both contributed to the IT'S A WONDERFUL LIE anthology and there's a little shin-dig at the Harvard Coop. So I can't wait to raise a glass and toast Melissa's new book. She also contributed to EVERYTHING I NEEDED TO KNOW ABOUT BEING A GIRL I LEARNED FROM JUDY BLUME, so I'm hoping she buys me a drink and toasts in return (because I'm not one to turn down a free drink).
