It's been a long week, what with a trip to the West Coast and a red-eye back Thursday morning. But, I must say, the traveling did have an unexpected benefit - six uninterrupted hours watching TV on JetBlue. Not that I watched TV for six hours, but I was able to catch a show that had piqued my morbid curiousity - Rock of Love with Bret Michaels on VH-1. My husband and I had seen the previews of the dating show for Poison's former lead singer, and we thought it might be amusing. But when we went to watch the premier it was so totally mortifying we shut it off. Not so on JetBlue with hours to kill! I got to watch every single horrifying minute of these sad, quite foul-mouthed women attempting to lure Bret Michaels into their cleavage. I was actually laughing out loud at several points, unable to contain myself. It was an absolute car wreck. Of course, now I can't wait to watch episode #2.

In other news, EVERYTHING I NEEDED TO KNOW... is in US Weekly this week, actually made it in the Buzz-0-meter section, which lists the topics and things people are buzzing about. So, next to Brazilian models, a pair of strappy Balenciaga sandals and some super fabulous new make-up, is the book! Yeah!
